Things to do in Chetpet & Kilpauk
26 events in chetpet & kilpauk across Chennai — mostly workshop (18), literature (2), comedy (2), art (1).
Chetpet is a quiet residential pocket with one of the busiest ticketed halls in Chennai. The Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, on the Lady Andal school campus off Harrington Road, seats roughly 1,200 and is a regular stop for touring comedians, English theatre and tribute concerts; The Hindu's Lit for Life festival was held on the same campus in January 2026. Harrington Road itself has cafés, bakeries and restaurants that fill up before shows. Chetpet Eco Park, built around the lake, has a walking track and boating. Chetpet suburban station is under a kilometre from the hall; Nehru Park and Kilpauk metro stations are a short auto ride away.
