Expos, Trade Fairs & Exhibitions in Chennai

Most of Chennai's expos take place at the Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam, which lists ten air-conditioned exhibition halls and three convention halls. Its calendar includes the India International Leather Fair, property, automobile, education, food, wedding and jewellery shows, and industrial exhibitions for the region's manufacturers. Chennai Comic Con has been held there each February since 2024, most recently on 14–15 February 2026; a 2027 edition had not been announced as of October 2026. The other big fixture is the India Tourist and Industrial Fair at Island Grounds, the state-run 'trade fair' with pavilions and rides, usually between January and March. Hotels and halls in T. Nagar and Nungambakkam host handloom, craft and lifestyle exhibitions. Check whether a show is open to the public or trade-only before you go.
