Chennai Comic Con 2027

Chennai Comic Con returns to Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam for a two-day celebration of comics, anime, cosplay and gaming. It runs from 11:00 AM on Saturday, 16 January 2027 through Sunday, 17 January 2027, with tickets at ₹2,999.

Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam is the city's main exhibition and convention complex. Commissioned in January 2001, with a convention centre added in November 2004, it is a joint venture in which the India Trade Promotion Organisation holds 51 per cent and the Tamil Nadu government's industrial development arm the rest. Check which hall your event is in. The older halls (1–3) and the newer halls (4–8) have different entrances and it is a long walk between them. There is no metro station at the gate. Take the metro to Alandur and an auto from there, or book a cab; Mount–Poonamallee Road is slow in the evening peak. Trade shows often restrict the first days to business visitors and open to the public later. Read the organiser's visitor rules before you go.
